Enjoy your summer holiday at one of the many bathing and mountain lakes or visit the world-famous Chiemsee with King Ludwig II's fairytale castle. A fantastic panorama opens up to you from the Wendelstein, which you can conquer on foot, by gondola or cogwheel railway.
Do you fancy water skiing, canyoning or rafting? Horse riding, hiking, climbing, golfing? For cycling or a tour with the hotel's own electric bikes, a summer toboggan run or a day on the alpine pasture? No problem, Oberaudorf is the ideal starting point for all this and many other ideas from our excursion programme.

Did you know that the mountain on our beer glasses is Oberaudorf's local mountain Brünnstein? The water in the beer is is from purest quality. The view is fabulous too. You can reach the Brünnstein Hut from Oberaudorf in 2-4 hours via various paths. It is situated at the botto of the Brünnstein wall, which you can climb in another 45 min via a fixed rope route. But be careful - only for experienced climbers!
With the Sudelfeld ski area, Oberaudorf has the largest ski area in Germany to offer. You can let off steam to your heart's content on 31 kilometres of slopes, a fun park and 15 lifts. Would you like it to be even bigger? Then why not take advantage of our ski bus (free for hotel guests) to Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser and choose between over 90 lifts and more than 100 pistes, all with one ski pass. "Rather small and within walking distance" is also available - the Hocheck with two lifts and a toboggan run, even operating several times a week until 10:00 pm with floodlights. Sledges can be rented free of charge at the reception.
There are cross-country trails in and around Oberaudorf in all lengths and variations.

Nearby there is also the Innsola in Kiefersfelden (7 km) and the indoor / outdoor adventure pool Kaiserbad in Ellmau am Wilden Kaiser (20 km) and the Bernamare in Bernau am Chiemsee (30 km).
No matter in which season, you will find activities for the whole family all year round. Our local mountain, the Hocheck adventure mountain (500 m), offers a summer toboggan run, a legend trail, the Oberaudorf Flyer and much more in summer. Everything is easily accessible on foot or comfortably by chairlift. In winter, you can whizz down the slopes and enjoy the toboggan run, both during the day and at night with floodlights!
Refreshment in summer is offered by the Luegsteinsee (1 km) with its playground, beach volleyball court and children's area with water slide. Sports fans are more attracted to the Hödenauersee (3 km) with its water ski lift. The Hexenwasser in Söll (22 km) also offers fun in nature.
Adrenalin is provided by the Ruhpolding amusement park (49 km), with all kinds of rides and attractions. On the way back, it's worth stopping at Wildbichl Wildlife Park (10 km), where you can get up close to the local wild animals.
For a bit of history, the little ones can be especially enthused at Kufstein Fortress (9km) or in the Schwaz silver mine (50 km). Right next to the silver mine, the Zeiss Planetarium invites you to take a trip into space.
